The housing market on the seacoast is off to a fine start for 2016. In Dover there have been 48 sales just this year! This includes condo’s and single family homes. The average sales price was 252k and an average of 130 days on the market. We continue to note positive trends locally including new housing starts, new construction activity, and the Dover waterfront initiative.
Portsmouth is also having a great start. There have been 45 single family and condo sales so fare this year. Portsmouth continues to benefit from the desirability of NH seacoast. The community and Pease port authority have done a tremendous job reaching out to employers and attracting companies to move here.
